Director

I graduated from the University of Western Sydney in late 2013 with a Bachelor of Health Science/Masters of Podiatric Medicine. I joined the business (formerly Freeman Podiatry & Biomechanics) in 2014 and in July 2015 became a Director alongside Melanie Freeman and Naomi Williams where the business became Freeman Williams Bertao Podiatry & Biomechanics. In May 2021, I welcomed the opportunity to become sole Director of the business and with this commenced the re-branding of both clinics to ‘The Podiatry & Biomechanics Co.’.

During my studies I was fortunate enough to be guided and trained by many well-known and experienced Podiatrists and Podiatric Surgeons, gaining valuable experiences in all aspects of Podiatry. I aim to keep up to date with advancements in treatment protocols, new therapies available and surgical interventions through attending yearly conferences, seminars and workshops.

In my spare time I enjoy hitting the gym for fitness and spending weekends with my wife, Chihuahua ‘Pepito’ and son Levi. I am a massive St. George Illawarra Dragons supporter and in the winter months you’ll catch me on the soccer field playing for Albion Park Football Club.

I am available for consultations across both our Wollongong (Friday only) and Shellharbour clinic and enjoy treating patients across all aspects of podiatry including general nail care, paediatrics, surgical podiatry, the diabetic foot and all aspects of sports podiatry including orthotic therapy, exercise prescription and shockwave therapy. I also offer in home Podiatry services for those no longer able to make it into the clinic.
